This is the third of the Wentworth Follies. It’s probably the most obvious of the four from a distance, and yet it’s easy to drive past, because it’s actually not as tall as it looks. From a photographic standpoint, it’s also a tricky one, because it is now surrounded by houses. However, that didn’t stop me enjoying a beautiful sunrise this morning.

I stuck around a bit after the sun broke the horizon, and used the range of the Tamron to take some detail shots. The column has a rather large crack in it, which is why it appears to wear a corset these days. The pigeons love it.
