One of the best parts of my job is that I work at a small farm and falconry centre a couple of days a week. Today I had to assist with this young tawny owl that had been brought in. He seemed to like me, and couple of times made short, unplanned flights to my arm, where he seemed quite happy to sit. I came home with quite a few scratches from its talons as a result, but I didn’t mind.
