I got up early this morning, as I would be spending the next 30+ hours at work, and wouldn’t get another chance to take a photo. I had hoped to get a half-decent sunrise for another challenge I’ve been set, but it was not to be. However, the heard of red deer which live in the grounds of Wentworth Woodhouse were particularly accommodating this morning, and posed for a while in front of the magnificent building.

What I loved about this was that it gave a much better indication of scale than some of the shots I’ve taken of the Woodhouse.
