Willow was flying when I arrived today, and I hurriedly jumped out of the car to get this before he wrapped up for the day. The light was quite overcast, but since Willow is a light-coloured bird, the responsiveness of the Tamron 18-270 PZD was quite snappy. There is a very short circumference of travel on the focus ring, which means that the lens is quite quick to focus, even though it may not be as precise as faster, more expensive counterparts.
